Royal Natal NP

It's hard to pick a favorite but Royal Natal was probably the most spectacular of the parks on this trip. Here we stayed in Thendele Camp, high up on the escarpment. The higher altitude meant that when the rain arrived we found ourselves deep in the clouds with not much to do than eat and wait for better weather.

Luckily the rain only lasted a day and when the clouds finally lifted, the cliff face looked even more spectacular than before.

By the way, we didn't know it at the time but we would look down onto the camp from the top of the escarpment a few days later.
