We caught this guy on a warm evening on our stoop and kept him under a tupper container overnight. The next morning, we released him away from the house.

Scorpion encounters are rare and this was the first time we found one near the house. However, it was apparently the more venomous of the two kinds found in this area, so we did check our shoes for a few days afterwards.
